A shared calendar nobody else can read.
Events are encrypted on your device before they are stored. The server that hosts this app moves blobs it cannot open, and cannot tell a dentist appointment from a birthday.
Free while in early access, no card collected. A$1.50 a month afterwards, billed yearly.
The server holds blobs it cannot open
Your passphrase is turned into a key on your device. Events are encrypted with it before they are sent, and the key is never transmitted — so the machine that stores your calendar is storing ciphertext, and has no way to turn it back into a dentist appointment.
This is not a setting you have to find and switch on. There is no plaintext mode to be in by accident, and no administrator view that decrypts it for support.
Every event gets the fields your group needs
Most shared calendars give you a title, a time and a location. That covers a birthday and not much else — not a rental inspection with an invoice number and an access code, not a job with a checklist attached.
Add the fields the group actually uses and every event in that calendar gets the same form. The fields are encrypted along with everything else.
Also worth knowing
Bring one calendar's worth of people in
You connect with someone once, by email address, and then you can share any calendar with them — at editor or viewer, your choice, per calendar. Nothing travels as a link, so there is no invitation to forward and no secret sitting in a message. A request tells the person you asked nothing about whether the address you typed has an account here, and if they decline, you are never told.
There is no reset, and no back door
A recovery code is issued when you create the account. Lose the passphrase and the code and the data is gone — including to us, because we never had the key that opens it.
